( Description: Dimple piercings are often pierced using a 14 G labret type stud with a length of 5/8" or longer. These piercings are often pierced through the "sweet spot" of the cheek meaning the area when you smile would have natural dimples. These piercings once removed can cause permanent man-made dimples.

l Aftercare: For cleaning the external side of the piercing it is recommended with this piercing to clean 5 to 6 times a day using saline solution or antibacterial soap. Do not overclean. For the internal side of the piercing swish with a sea salt solution twice a day. Recommended mixture is 1/4 teaspoon sea salt dissolved in 1 cup of warm, sterile water. Do this for about 5 minutes.

Avoid: DO NOT SMOKE. Again. DO NOT SMOKE. Do not change the jewelry for this until the piercing is healed. Swimming holes, creeks, rivers, etc. due to bacterial exposure risk.
